YMCA Child Care Services

Mission/Program Description:

The mission of the YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Programs are made available to all families and individuals regardless of ability to pay.

Available Assignments:

Assignments vary from folding brochures to helping with groups of children.  Volunteers are utilized Monday through Friday at any of our 18 child care locations.

Volunteer Requirements:

Volunteers must be 16 years of age.  Each volunteer will be asked to get a criminal history and child abuse clearance as well as an annual physical and tb test.  Volunteers are required to sign a confidentiality statement and represent themselves as positive role models for children.
