Transportation Program

Founded in 1952, Hope Enterprises, Inc. provides a wide array of early intervention, day, and residential services to individuals with mental retardation/developmental disabilities in Lycoming County.  Age ranges are from infancy to the elderly and the total number of individuals served daily is 665. 

The LCUW supported services offered by Hope are as follows: 

The Transportation Program is critical to linking individuals with the appropriate services.  Currently, agency vehicles transport individuals to many jobs sites throughout Lycoming County.  Public/accessible transportation is used as much as possible.  However, some individuals because of special needs and physical demands could not be transported if it were not for the services that Hope provides.  The transportation component is critical in a rural area to insure that individuals with disabilities are able to lead productive lives in our community.
